About

I believe Unitarian Universalism has the power to help transform our world but only as much as we are willing to get comfortable with being uncomfortable. This work is not easy, it does not come cheap and it does take commitment. Mutual accountability is crucial in this work and if you are not up for the hard conversations then I request that you move on from my page. We don’t have time to bring everyone along, we can’t wait for everyone to agree…we have a duty to achieve our mutual liberation.  ¡Sí se puede!

I currently serve as the Director of Administration and Finance at Thomas Jefferson Memorial Church Unitarian Universalist in Charlottesville, Virginia. I identify as a religious professional with primary emphasis on religious education. Previously, I served as Director of Religious Education at the UU Fellowship of Waynesboro.  In 2014 I was elected at General Assembly to serve our wider UU community as a member of the UUA Board of Trustees. Most recently I joined the inaugural Advisory Board of the UU House of Studies at the Methodist Theological School in Ohio. I am blessed to have the faith and support of my husband Chris and twin sons Andreas and Miguel who, along with my ancestors, form the support base for my calling to UU ministry.
